The Riekonlinna Hotel has excellent facilities and even boasts its' own Northern Lights viewing room.
This elegant hotel boasts excellent facilities and even has its own special Northern Lights viewing room! Situated close the the village centre, this is a very popular family hotel.
The Hotel Riekonlinna is very popular with our visitors to Lapland with its excellent range of facilities and a reputation for wonderful food. A favourite feature of ours is the Northern Lights Lounge, which offers big squishy sofas looking out to the northern skies through huge, wall-to-wall panoramic windows, so you can watch for the Aurora Borealis in warmth and comfort! Children meanwhile will probably be more interested in the play area and the hotel's toboggans, provided free of charge for use by guests. The Hotel Riekonlinna offers a range of family rooms, suites and apartments. All sofa-beds are suitable for two children under 10 or one older child or adult.

These rooms have two single beds and a double sofa-bed, which is suitable for one adult or two children. You'll have an en-suite bathroom with shower, tv, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities.

Family Suites (Type B)
These suites have a twin bedroom and separate lounge with a sofa-bed which is suitable for one adult or two children. These rooms have a private en-suite with either a bath or a sauna with a shower. All rooms have a balcony, tv, minibar, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities.
You can also book these rooms as pairs for families of 4-6 (Type C)

Interconnecting Suites (Type C)
These are interconnecting family suites (one comes with an extra single bed), ensuite with a shower, toilet, sauna, balcony, tv, minibar, tea & coffe making facilities and a hairdryer. It has a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and you'll have access to a balcony. There is one sauna.
Sleeps 4-5
Family Apartment (Type D)
These feature a twin bedroom and a separate lounge with a double sofa-bed. The apartments have a private bathroom, balcony, tv, hairdryer and kitchenette. These apartments are a short walk from the main hotel building.
Sleeps 2-4
Family Apartments (Type E)
These apartments feature two twin bedrooms and a separate lounge with a double sofa-bed, shared sauna, private bathroom, balcony, tv, hairdryer and kitchenette. These apartments are a short walk from the main hotel building.
Sleeps 4-6
Twin Bedrooms (Type F)
A twin bedroom with a private en-suite with shower, balcony, tv, minibar, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. These rooms can be booked as a par (Type G) for 4-6 guests. When booked as a pair it is important to note the two twin bedrooms are not interconnecting and will be opposite or adjacent to each other.
Sleeps 2-3
Superior Family Suites (Type H)
Two interconnecting , newly renovated superior rooms with twin beds and a single sofa bed suitable for one child. One or the interconnecting rooms has a private sauna and they all have a bathroom, balcony, tv, minibar, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
