The resort comprises two genuine Lappish villages set 15 minutes apart connected by a regular shuttle bus: Äkäslompolo where Äkäs Hotel and all our cabins are located, and Ylläsjärvi where the new luxury Ylläs Saaga hotel enjoys a panoramic slopeside position.

This holiday is essentially a ski holiday where it's not just about the ski. You have the option of adding on many different winter activities including a trip to see Santa.
Thermal Suit and Boot Hire is a must!!
There is no better way to ensure you get the holiday you really want than to plan it yourself. You can include as few or as many optional excursions as you wish and if you don’t own arctic outerwear or skiwear, you can add that in too!
If you have never skied but always wanted to why not try a ski taster session? If your party has children and you are visiting during the festive season, why not book The Santa Experience package. Check out the list of pre-bookable optional extras and create your best itinerary.
On arrival your representative will guide you to your coach for the scenic transfer to Levi where you will advised of your itinerary. If you have included thermal suits and boots hire you will stop to collect these en-route to your accommodation.
If you have added in any optional excursions the representative will advise the days these will take place and for those who haven’t or would like to include further excursions, you will have the opportunity to do this (payable locally).
