You will leave the UK between 7am and 8am and breakfast will be served on your flight. It takes 3 ½ hours to fly to Enontekio and overall, you will be in Lapland for approximately 6 hours.

On arrival, you will be provided with a thermal snow suit and boots to keep you warm during the day, then it’s time to head to a beautiful location set beside a frozen lake shore travelling by snowmobile sleigh (the sleigh is pulled by a snowmobile and is driven by a guide).

Once at the venue you can relax and enjoy the magic of this amazing winter wonderland.

Learn to drive a snowmobile (suitable for adults and children alike - subject to height restrictions).

Of course, children always love to try some tobogganing and here we have special Stiga toboggans available, which allow them to have a greater steering ability to enhance their enjoyment.

As you enter the snow igloo there are ice sculptures and tables also made of ice, where you can sample some traditional hot berry juice. No journey to Lapland would be complete without experiencing a traditional sleigh ride pulled by either a team of huskies or Santa’s faithful reindeer and on this day trip you can enjoy both. Yet where will you find Santa Claus? Well, a snowmobile sleigh (the sleigh is pulled by a snowmobile driven and is by a guide) will be waiting to transport you to his home in the forest. Father Christmas knows that you have travelled from afar to see him & your meeting with him has been carefully organised by Santa’s Helper. Each child will receive a gift from Santa.

Lunch will be available throughout the day and the menu usually includes soup, baked potatoes with either a meat or vegetarian filling, pasta, and a sweet dessert of pancakes and jam.

There is only a small gift shop in the village, as this is an authentic and remote location, so remember to bring snacks with you, as there is nowhere to purchase such items in the village.

Finally, after realising your dream of meeting Santa, it’s time to go home. Board the coach for the short journey to Enontekio Airport leaving Santa and his helpers to continue with their important duties. Dinner will be served during your return flight, then it’s time to rest, relax and remember your fun-filled time in Lapland. Your return flight will land back in the UK at approximately 10 pm.

Everything was perfect, thank you so so much. It was just magical, and even the adults were believers! The set up was amazing, conpletly non commercialised, exaclty what we wanted. 

No queues, simple child friendly food, great activities, and the set up to see santa was amazing. 

The flight was great, staff were super, overall it was just a great great day.

"My little boy is ten and absolutely loved every second of his day.(Well we both did).  It was magical from the time we landed till the time we had to leave to come home.  There was plenty to do, eat and drink for us all day.  We got pulled by the skidoos from the airport to the resort which was amazing. When we arrived there was so much to do - sledging, husky pulled ride, reindeer pulled ride, playing in the snow, skidoo ride and most importantly our visit to see Santa Claus, It was -26 when we went but with the layers we had on and the suits and boots supplied were lovely and warm.   There were camp fires around most activities so you could keep warm.  The locals were so friendly.   His little face was a picture, well worth every penny. We would definitely return."

"I took my 8-year-old son on the Enchanted Lapland day trip. I was worried beforehand as with less than 10 days to go, the tickets had nor arrived. The staff in Glasgow were so reassuring and patient and nothing was too much trouble for them and got our tickets to us in plenty of time.
The flight had a Christmas sing along and activity packs for the kids with a competition. 
When we arrived at Lapland, we saw Santa straight away but there was no rush. Santa was really special and asked lots of questions and let us take photos - there was no official photographer charging £10 a picture - just us. The whole village was magical and we were pretty much left to do whatever we wanted. We loved it ! Great trip & great staff!"
