Muonio is the ideal resort if you are looking for a wilderness retreat in Lapland. It is also the perfect place to meet Santa in his happy place, where nature creates a sparkling winter wonderland guaranteed to take your breath away. DAY 1: Your in-resort rep will be waiting at Kittilä airport to warmly welcome you to Lapland. Transfer from the airport to your accommodation. Once you arrive settle in to your accommodation, pick up your suits and boots and familiarise yourself with the resort.
DAYS 2 & 3: You will have two or three days or activities including a husky safari, snowmobile safari, reindeer visit and sleigh ride, Christmas crafts, as well as snow and ice activities - plus the all important meeting with Santa!
DAY 4 : You'll have plenty of time to play in the snow or add on an optional excursion. After dinner, perhaps the Northern Lights will appear for that perfect end to your holiday.
DAY 5 : After a magical few days, it’s time to say goodbye to your new friends before being transferred by coach to the airport for your flight home.

Room types include -
Standard Twin Room: Cosy log style rooms, sleeping three people in three single beds.
Sauna Room: Sleep up to four people in a cosy log style room. These rooms have a room with a double bed, and a sofa bed - suitable for one adult or two children in the open-plan seating area and a private sauna.
Sauna Room Plus Room: Sleep up to five people in a wilderness style room. These apartments have been renovated in recent years and have a double bed and sofa bed - suitable for two adults or three children in a seating area and a private sauna.
Wilderness Plus Room: sleep up to four people and are located on the ground floor close to reception. These rooms have a double bedroom and an additional sofa bed - suitable for one adult or two children. These rooms also have a mini-fridge and Ecological Finnish hair and body products.
Wilderness Suites sleep up to five people in a duplex style apartment. These suites have a double bed on the mezzanine level and an additional sofa bed - suitable for two adults or three children downstairs. These suites also have a mini-fridge and Ecological Finnish hair and body products.
Wilderness Plus Suites: Sleep up to seven people in a duplex style apartment. These suites have a double bed, and two separate beds on the mezzanine level, plus an additional sofa bed - suitable for two adults or three children downstairs. These suites also have a mini-fridge and Ecological Finnish hair and body products.
