Santa's Star Arctic Hotel

Food and Drink - Half Board Included
When you arrive at the hotel, you'll be welcomed with a buffet lunch which includes soup, sandwiches, biscuits, tea, and coffee. Then it's time to enjoy your first day in the Arctic, before your Wilderness Dinner.
The hotel restaurant, Restaurant Kaunis, is where you'll be having a buffet breakfast and a 3-course buffet dinner. There's both traditional Finnish dishes and modern cuisines available here, as well as options for the kids. The floor to ceiling windows surround the restaurant so you have every opportunity to look out at the snowy wilderness. The bar is just next to it and is a cosy place to relax with a drink.
On your Search for Santa Day a 2-course buffet lunch is included, and plenty of hot berry juice to keep you warm.
Sauna and Hot Tub
The hotel has two saunas and a hot tub which can be booked for private sessions only. They have large scenic windows to check out the landscape - there’s barely a spot where you don’t feel part of the magic outside.
The larger sauna can fit up to 8 people and there's a terrace with an outdoor hot tub. The smaller sauna is perfect for 1-4 people.
These are bookable at the hotel's reception.
Location
It’s approximately 1.5km from the main village in Saariselkä. The best way to get to the village is a 40-minute walk on the snowy path and taxi back uphill.
The pickup for all activities and transfers is from the hotel.

Scenic View Suites (Type A) 
Rest up on a twin or double bed on the upper floor with windows facing north for the Northern Lights. Theres a sofa-bed for up to 2 children on the lower floor, where the window looks out over the arctic landscape.

Glass Cabins (Type B) 
Sleep under the stars in a cosy cabin. The impressive glass roof  emans you can gaze at the stars until you drift off plus, itfaces north for the best chance of seeing the northern lights, Theres a double bed for you and pull-out beds for the children so you can look for the northern lights together.

Scenic View Suites with Sauna (Type C)
These large suites have your own private sauna and a kitchenette with dining table and chairs. The large windows are glorious and look out over the forest and the twinkling lights of Saariselka.

Scenic View Suites with Sauna (Type D)
These large suites have your own private sauna and a kitchenette with dining table and chairs. The large windows are glorious and look out over the forest and the twinkling lights of Saariselka. The suites additionally have a put-up bed for children aged 11 or under.

Aurora Suites (Type E)
Completely brand new for 2025.these suites offer floor to ceiling windows, facing South for spectacular views over the Saariselka Village and National park. These suite pamper you with a private sauna and bathtub for maximum relaxation as well as a shower and a separate toilet. There is a queen sized double bed and 2 extra beds for the children (ages 11 and under)
