Plus, enjoy complimentary access to the swimming pool, saunas, and fitness facilities at the nearby Äkäs Hotel.

Step outside your cabin and you’ll find yourself right at the start of an extensive network of cross-country ski trails — over 314 kilometres of groomed tracks meander through the snowy landscapes around Ylläs. For downhill enthusiasts, a short ski bus ride (payable locally) takes you to the slopes, offering a variety of runs for all skill levels. Skiing in Lapland is truly magical — glide across untouched pistes by day, and take advantage of night skiing under floodlights earlier in the season. While most pistes close by late afternoon, the illuminated slopes let you extend your time on the snow well after sundown.

Food/Drinks
The Äkäs Cabins are on a bed and breakfast basis with the option to upgrade to have half-board meals in the nearby Äkäs Hotel. Half board includes a buffet breakfast and a three-course dinner.
Guests staying on half board over New Year's Eve will have a gala dinner included.
