Your holiday begins when you fly into the heart of Lapland before then taking a short coach transfer to Saariselkä - 200km above the Arctic Circle. We’ll hand you your thermal snowsuits and boots which are essential for keeping you warm and you’ll also fill up on an afternoon tea. In the evening, you’ll head off to enjoy a dinner like never before – out in the wilderness where you’ll feast in a Lappish Kota, which is a traditional wooden hut. After dinner you can huddle around a crackling fire and toast tasty marshmallows. Your local Sami guide will then lead you on a wonderful reindeer sleigh ride through the forests of Lapland. Just keep warm, cuddled together under the blankets, and marvel at this winter wonderland.

Your Choice of Accommodation

The moment has arrived as you follow the elves travelling by husky and reindeer. Can you follow Santa's magical glow trail that he leaves behind wherever he goes to his secret cabin? 'Mush! Mush!'... is how you’ll be commanding the huskies on your extended sled ride, swooshing through the snow in style. A grown-up will drive while the kids cosy up in the sled, and the huskies race you off into the magical forest. Step into the all-new Santa’s Elves Workshop and discover what our cheeky elves really get up to as they help Santa get ready for Christmas. Become part of the magic and join them for an adventure full of mischief and festive fun.

It’s not a proper Christmas without playing in the crunchy soft snow. Try kick-sledding, snow-hockey, and mini skidoo rides. And top it all off with some more tobogganing. The best bit? The fun is unlimited!

Soon it will be time to step into Santa's secret cabin. As you enter, there's a delightful surprise: every child receives a gift from Santa's sack, adding an extra touch of magic to your special visit! You’ll then head back to Saariselkä, where you’ll feast on a tasty dinner in your hotel while reminiscing and sharing stories from a magical day. The rest of the evening is yours for snowy adventures - go tobogganing or book another activity. Keep an eye out for the greatest natural show on earth - the Northern Lights - from the comfort of your room.

Before you leave Lapland, there's still time for a little more magic. You can hop on a thrilling snowmobile through the wintry forest with your family. And the best part is, it's included in your Aurora package. The grown-ups get to bring out their inner child by having a go at driving, while the kids sit back to take it all in. Don’t forget your driving licence! Then it's time to soak up one last look - you might think it was all a dream tomorrow. It’s time to say your goodbyes to this magical land and take a short coach ride back to the airport.
