Santa's Gielas and Kontio, Hotel Tunturi

The modern Kontio building sits directly opposite the main hotel and is where guests enjoy their breakfast and evening meals. Meanwhile, the Gielas building offers its own inviting bar and lounge area, complete with a cozy fireplace — perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors.
Santa’s Hotel Tunturi enjoys a prime location in the heart of Saariselkä, with fantastic tobogganing spots all around. It’s also right next to the stunning Urho Kekkonen National Park — ideal for scenic family walks and catching a glimpse of the magical Northern Lights.

Guests can enjoy buffet breakfasts and three-course buffet-style evening meals at the main Hotel Tunturi building. The Gielas building also features its own bar and lounge area with a fireplace, providing a cozy spot to relax after a day of snowy adventures

Gielas Family Bedrooms (Type D)  - Sleeps 2-4
Features two single beds and a double sofa-bed suitable for one adult or two children. Includes an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower attachment, a private sauna, and a balcony.

Gielas Family Bedrooms (Type E) - Sleeps 3-4
More spacious than Type D, this room also has two single beds and a double sofa-bed for one adult or two children. Comes with an en-suite bathroom (bath with shower attachment), a private sauna, and a balcony.

Kontio Premium Suite (Type L) - Sleeps 2-4
A spacious suite featuring a separate dining and living area, two single sofa beds for children, floor-to-ceiling windows with wilderness views, a private sauna, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Kontio Deluxe Bedrooms (Type M) - Sleeps 2-4
Offers twin beds and a sofa-bed suitable for one adult or two children. Includes a private sauna and an en-suite bathroom.

Konto Suites (Type N) - Sleeps 3-4
Larger than the deluxe bedrooms, this suite has twin beds and a separate room with a sofa-bed for one adult or two children. Features a private sauna and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
