Accommodation Overview
Wake each morning to a fresh blanket of snow outside your window, then return from your Arctic adventures to relax by the glow of a crackling fireplace or unwind in your own private sauna. Each cabin is unique — some crafted from classic pine logs, others featuring more contemporary finishes — but all come with fully equipped kitchens ideal for self-catering.
Whether you’re nestled deep in the peaceful forest or closer to the heart of the village, every cabin offers unforgettable views of the pristine Lapland wilderness. The main excursion meeting point at the Äkäs Hotel is between 250 to 1,500 metres away (around a 5–30 minute walk), depending on your cabin’s location.
Reconnect with nature and embrace the tranquillity — our cabins offer a truly unplugged experience, with no Wi-Fi to distract from the magic around you.
Lapland is one of the world’s premier locations to witness the awe-inspiring Northern Lights. During your winter stay, you’ll have the chance to see the sky come alive with streaks of green, violet, and red. Your Ylläs Log Cabin also serves as a perfect base for our optional activities, including snowmobiling, husky safaris, reindeer rides, and snowshoeing.
After a day of exploring, there's nothing better than returning to your warm, peaceful cabin — your own private sanctuary in the heart of a winter wonderland.
