Itinerary                                                                                                                                                                   

Day 1
Upon landing at Enontekio Airport you will be directed to your coach for the approximately 2 hour transfer to Kilpisjarvi in the northernmost part of Finnish Lapland. Sit back and enjoy the stunning vistas and remember to look out for herds of wild reindeer peeping out from the trees or an occasional Finnish Elk wandering along the roadside. You will collect your thermal suits and boots on the way to your accommodation and, after checking in, you will be invited to a welcome meeting where your rep will tell you all you need to know to be able to make the most of your time in Lapland.
Following a tasty evening dinner, you can explore the area outside your accommodation or retire for an early night in readiness for tomorrow’s adventures. Remember to look up! Even if the northern lights have not put in an appearance, the dark sky, free from light pollution, will ensure the millions of stars shine bigger and brighter, and even the milky way may be visible to the naked eye.                                                                                         

Day 2 
Following a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast you will set off for an exhilarating husky safari followed by a warming lunch. Afterwards you will have the opportunity of some free time before your evening meal to enjoy the wonderful deep powdery snow. You may instead decide to arrange an optional excursion such as reindeer herding or ice fishing by snowmobile or, how about arranging an evening excursion such as a northern lights snowmobile safari tour?                                                                                                                                           

Day 3 
It’s time to search for Santa and this action-packed day begins after breakfast with a snowmobile adventure. Get to grips with these powerful vehicles and cut through the pristine snow with the stunning Saana Fell as your backdrop.
The highlight of the day will be when you board a sleigh and set off across the countryside to search for Santa. The reindeer know the way to his home, they have taken this route before and dropped him off at his front door after his magical one-night world tour last year so you don’t need to worry, we are sure you will find him! Once you have located his cabin you will be invited in for a private meeting with Santa. The children will enjoy having some time to chat with him before receiving a small gift to bring home with them as a memento of this day before boarding the sled once more and heading back to your accommodation for a warming evening meal.         

Day 4 
You will check out of your accommodation after breakfast however there will be some time to enjoy a last-minute stroll around the area, a final play in the snow or one last optional excursion before lunch. It will then be time to board the coach for your transfer to the airport and your journey home.
This break is also available as a 4 night option departing from Birmingham and Manchester.
