Day 1: Welcome to Lapland

After landing at Ivalo Airport in the heart of Lapland, it's just a short coach ride to the beautiful resort of Saariselkä.

Upon arrival you will fill up on an afternoon tea, plus you will collect your thermal snowsuits and boots that you will have at your xxx for the duration of your stay. These will keep you cosy and warm wherever you explore. It’s time for your adventure to begin.

In the evening, you’ll head off to a traditional Lappish kota (similar to a teepee) to enjoy your wilderness dinner. After which you will huddle around the fire toasting marshmallows as you listen to the elves share their magical tales.

Later that evening, you will meet your local Sami guide and their friendly reindeer for a sleigh ride through a wintery forest as you keep cosy and warm, cuddled together under the blankets.

Your Choice of Accommodation

Day 2: Search For Santa Day

As you shout 'Mush! Mush!', you’ll be commanding the huskies on your exciting 5km sled ride, whizzing along through the snow. An adult will drive the sled while the rest of your party cosy up in the sled as the huskies race along a magical forest track.

Santa’s Elves Workshop will be open for business so step inside and discover what his cheeky elves really get up to as they help Santa prepare for Christmas.

Following a break to relax and refuel with a hearty two-course lunch and lots of hot berry juice, it’s time to try out some snow activities. Enjoy unlimited toboggan, kick-sled and mini skidoo rides.

After your snow activities, follow a twinkling path through the snowy forest to be immersed in an enchanted elven world, where you’ll learn about the flora and fauna of Lapland, and maybe even find the cabin belonging to the Forest Elf.

Climb aboard your snowmobile-sleigh to join the search for Santa and as you swish through the snowy forest, remember to look closely for Santa’s glow trail. Wherever he goes, Santa leaves a magical glow trail- will you catch a glimpse of it? When you spot it, you will know he isn’t far away! All of a sudden, the moment you have been waiting for has arrived! You have found Santa’s cabin! At the door, you will be greeted by the Aurora Elf, who will usher you inside to meet Santa.

With all the excitement of the day behind you, it’s time to head back to your accommodation in Saariselkä for dinner where you can reminisce and share stories about your Lapland adventures. The rest of the evening is free for you to do as you please.

Day 3: Goodbye Lapland

Before heading home, hop on a thrilling snowmobile through the wintry forest with your family. Kids travel in a sleigh led by a guide's snowmobile, taking the lead position in the group. Grown-ups have the option to drive, ride pillion, or settle into the sleigh. Don’t forget your driving licence!

Enjoy some extra time playing in the snow and whooshing on your toboggan before it's time to board your coach for the transfer to the airport and your flight home.
