Holiday Overview & Itinerary
For those with a spirit for adventure, this Lapland holiday is one not to miss. Guided by expert staff, you’ll zip along frozen rivers, weave across the Arctic tundra and delve into the pristine snow scenes that stretch to the horizon. Based at the foot of the snow-capped Lyngen Alps, and perched on the edge of Lake Kilpis, Kilpisjärvi is the perfect base from which to explore the most northern parts of True Lapland.
You’ll create many amazing memories during this trip, but the highlight will be venturing out on snowmobile to the ‘three borders’ point, where Norway, Finland and Sweden meet – circle around all three countries in less than 30 seconds! You’ll also have the chance to experience a Northern Lights snowmobile tour, where you may be dazzled by the dancing Aurora Borealis, and a reindeer camp excursion where you’ll be introduced to the local Sami and their way of life. This will be the trip of a lifetime in this unique and spectacular setting.

One of the highlights of your Lapland holiday is travelling by snowmobile to the “three borders” point where Finland, Sweden and Norway meet. In fact, you can circle round all three countries in 30 seconds! - Sami Reindeer Experience (Duration: 2 and half hours)
This is your perfect chance to have a hands-on experience at a reindeer farm where you’ll learn about this Lapland tradition as well as enjoying an 800m ride and being able to feed these wonderful animals.
- Northern Lights Snowmobile Safari (Duration: 2 hours)
It’s time to power into the darkness as you drive across the Arctic tundra and frozen rivers in search of this natural phenomenon. Two adults share a snowmobile and you’ll need a full valid driving licence - Arctic Ice Fishing by Snowmobile (Duration: 1 and a half hours)
This adventure sees you enjoy another thrilling snowmobile ride as you head across the tundra to a frozen lake where you’ll try traditional ice fishing. You’ll be shown how to drill a hole in the ice and then drop your baited hook into the icy water below.
