Aurora Winter Lodge

Fully renovated in 2016, the Aurora Winter Lodge is surrounded by pristine wilderness, with stunning views in abundance. The nearest settlement is Lannavaara, a village whose year-round population barely tops 80. It would be hard to find a more tranquil and secluded location, and with the facilities at the Lodge, it is perfect for those wanting to get away but not wanting to give up the comforts of home.

The Lodge’s sauna features floor-to-ceiling windows, providing panoramic views of the surrounding frozen vistas – a beautiful juxtaposition with the heat. Immediately adjacent, the hot tub also allows you to luxuriate while taking in the landscape.

Views are in abundance at the Aurora Winter Lodge, in fact. On a clear day, you can see the stunning Kuormakka (an iconic fell in the region) from most of the restaurant and lounge.

Aurora Cabins: The Aurora Cabins are spacious and open-plan, accommodating up to 5 guests. A fireplace gives you the perfect location to set up your perfect winter scene, with a log burning merrily while snow flurries outside the window.
